A new docu-series about Dave Grohl and his mom is in the works

It's set for release on ViacomCBS's new streaming platform

CBS All Access is set to rebrand as Paramount+ next month, and it’s set to get a whole bunch of new content for music fans, including a new docu-series about Dave Grohl and his mom, Virginia Hanlon Grohl.

The series will be based on Virginia’s 2017 book, From Cradle to Stage: Stories from the Mothers Who Rocked and Raised Rock Stars, which featured interviews with rock stars’ moms about raising their children.

From Cradle to Stage will be a six-part docu-series that delves deeper into these relationships, with each episode looking at one single famous artist and their mother.

In addition to From Cradle to Stage, Paramount+ will also feature new episodes of VH1’s Behind the Music, Yo! MTV Raps, and Unplugged.

Paramount+ is set to go live on March 4th, but the launch dates for the programs have yet to be revealed.
