A new ‘Legends Of The Hidden Temple’ reboot for adults is in the works

Calling all 90’s kids, Legends of the Hidden Temple is coming back, and this time it will be for adults.

The original show had six teams of two kids that competed to gather “historical artifacts” from an “ancient temple” by taking part in physical stunts and trivia. The entire show was watched over by a giant stone face with glowing red eyes whose name was Olmec.

Now, it’s coming back to Quibi, which is launching in April 2020.

“This new, supersized, reimagined version will preserve many of the favourite original elements of the show – the Moat Crossing, Olmec and the Temple Run – but will see them ‘grown up’ for an audience that’s grown up along with them,” Quibi explains in a press release. Unlike the original show, this new one will take place in an actual jungle with far more difficult challenges and larger prizes.
