Alexisonfire are continuing to support anti-racist organizations and initiatives by announcing a new scholarship for Indigenous students.
Over the past 2 years we worked w/ @Plus1 to collect $1 from every concert ticket that we sold. $1 seems so inconsequential but when accumulated, it can go a long way. With your help, we were able to create the #Alexisonfire Indigenous Music Bursary in partnership w/ @Indspire pic.twitter.com/w5X6cc0B3r

In partnership with Inspire, Alexisonfire have created the Alexisonfire Indigenous Music Bursary, which will see students pursuing music studies getting priority for the bursary.
Established in memory of Alexisonfire’s longtime sound technician and friend, Karl Bareham, the scholarship will be an annual award for Indigenous post-secondary students.
To date, we’ve granted financial support to over 100 First Nations, Inuit & Métis students across Canada working towards their post secondary education goals
