A month before Downie recorded Away Is Mine in 2017 with Skydiggers’ Josh Finlayson, Downie had joined Toronto’s the Dinner Is Ruined in the studio for another album, according to the Globe and Mail. While the album has yet to be announced, Downie has collaborated with the Dinner Is Ruined many times throughout their career.
Away Is Mine is set for release on Friday, October 16th via Arts & Crafts.
