For many years, Pink Floyd fans have been syncing up the album The Dark Side of the Moon with classic film The Wizard of Oz. It’s become a cult phenomenon at late night rep movie house screenings. The film has become known as Dark Side of the Rainbow.
According to Reddit user knnl, who posted this theory on the Pink Floyd subreddit, Star Wars: The Force Awakens also perfectly syncs with Dark Side of The Moon. While we have not tested the theory yet, some evidence is presented in the reddit post. According to the post, pressing play as the film’s opening scroll ends and the camera pans to the spaceship starts a synchronization that almost lines up perfectly with each act in the movie.
