Arcade Fire’s Win Butler is calling out Pitchfork and news media outlets for reporting on his Twitter account, rather than “real news”.
The controversy started when Butler, suddenly announced today that he would be taking an extended break from Twitter. He told his followers that he would be back when he’s “got something to say.”
Hey guys. Taking an extended break from this thing, will miss the opinions and the 1 liners :)))) talk later when I got something to say ?

It sure didn’t take long for ex-tweeter to hop back on the app with something to say though. After Pitchfork wrote an article and tweet about him leaving Twitter, he replied to the post and was definitely far from happy.
Oh hey, I thought if something to say!https://t.co/WFjFfpijDW This isn't news @pitchfork ✌️

The DJ Windows 98 then made one more tweet letting them know what they actually should be writing about instead of his Twitter absence.
But this is, https://t.co/0nfeiKdoPO Haitians are literally fleeing over the boarder into Canada who have had legal status in the U.S.
