Arcade Fire Cover Prince’s “Controversy”

Listen to Arcade Fire's funky cover of Prince's classic "Controversy"

The second stop on Arcade Fire’s 5 month long Reflektor tour was Minneapolis where they did a groovy cover of the city’s funkiest hometown hero, Prince. According to Rolling Stone, the Montreal natives covered The Rolling Stones’ “The Last Time” during their tour opener in Louisville. They have also reportedly worked in snippets of Guns N’ Roses’ “Sweet Child O’ Mine”, Lady Gaga’s “Do What U Want”, Black eyed Peas’ “I Gotta Feeling”, and Aerosmith’s “I Don’t Want To Miss A Thing” into their set. We can’t wait to see what they have up their glittery sleeves this Thursday at the ACC.
