Arcade Fire’s Richard Reed Parry to score forthcoming Sean Durkin film ‘The Nest’

The film will premiere at Sundance on January 26

Following last year’s release of Quiet River of Dust Vol. 2, Richard Reed Parry is set to score Sean Durkin’s forthcoming film, The Nest, which marks his film scoring debut.

The Nest will premiere at this year’s Sundance Film Festival on January 26th, and the drama stars Jude Law, Carrie Coon, Charlie Shotwell, and Oona Roche. Following Law’s character of an ambitious entrepeneur, the film sees him persuade his family to leave America and return to his home of England.

“Driven by superb performances and a masterfully crafted aesthetic unease, Sean Durkin’s second feature contemplates the corrosive value system of the 1980s and its human toll, as it spreads like a sickness nobody realized was there,” a synopsis of the film explains.
