Arts and mental health festival Rendezvous with Madness announces 2021 programming

Rendezvous with Madness Festival

The Rendezvous with Madness Festival, presented by Workman Arts, is back! The event, which is one of the largest arts and mental health festivals in the world, has announced its 2021 programming.
This Indie88 feature is presented with Workman Arts.

The festival uses art as the entry point to highlight and investigate the realities and mythologies around mental health and addiction. This year’s programming asks us as a collective to reimagine the idea of “normal” after such a period of “abnormal” living.

The 2021 Rendezvous with Madness Festival marks the first event in the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health’s (CAMH) brand new auditorium. It will run from October 28th to November 7th, 2021.

This year’s event will showcase a range of feature and short films from around the world. Rendezvous with Madness also boasts the IN(SITE) Exhibition, Project Undertow’s production of Rosa Laborde’s True and the Big Feels: Post-Radical Growth symposium. The IN(SITE) Exhibition is definitely a standout. Instead of an on-site exhibition, it has moved to the digital world.

Tickets for the event are Pay What You Wish (PWYW). There will also be both in-person and virtual options for attendees so that you can enjoy the festival safely. Many of the event’s In Conversation panels will be held virtually. They will include artists, mental health professionals, and mental health consumers.

The festival invites you to Join the Conversation on social media with the hashtags #RWMFest21 and #RWMFest.
