Bandcamp have announced that they’re waiving their fees once again for 24 hours on May 1st.
The site, which is a publishing platform aimed at independent artists, usually takes a small percentage of money from each sale. Last month, Bandcamp waived their fees for 24 hours so that artists could claim one hundred per cent from each purchase, and this ended up generating a whopping $4.3 million in direct-to-artist sales.
Bandcamp is waiving their revenue shares, so support your favorite artists and labels! We'll try and strive to put something special we have out on the 1st, but if we can't we'll try and do a sale! pic.twitter.com/jJHAAaQIrv
