Beabadoobee has covered The Sundays’ “Here’s Where The Story Ends.”
The UK artist puts an acoustic twist on the 1990 track. Both the original version of “Here’s Where The Story Ends” and beabadoobee’s cover of the track revolve around the singers’ ethereal vocals. But, beabadoobee’s rendition offers up some pretty vast differences, as she trades in their textural instrumentals for two acoustic guitars.
Recorded live in the SiriusXM studio, beabadoobee’s cover of “Here’s Where The Story Ends” sees her delivering lines like, “People I know, places I go/ Make me feel tongue ties/ But I can see how people look down/ They’re on the inside.”

Beabadoobee recently released her new album, Beatopia. Serving as the follow-up to her debut album, Fake It Flowers, and her EP, Our Extended Play, the record features previously released singles “10:36,” “just another love song,” “See You Soon,” and “Talk.”
The new cover of “Here’s Where The Story Ends” really hones in on the album’s ’90s grunge-pop sounds.
Prior to Beatopia, beabadoobee took part in a bunch of collaborations. She teamed up with Cavetown for a single called “Fall In Love With A Girl.” It’s a sweet, melancholic tune is all about coming to terms with your sexuality. She also joined forces with Luna Li for “Silver into Rain.” On the track, Luna Li and beabadoobee’s voices compliment each other perfectly as they deliver lines together atop dreamy instrumentals. Both Luna Li and beabadoobee star in the video for “Silver Into Rain.”
