It was nice to get to record one last thing in the studio before everything got shut down.”

Christine and the Queens – “Eyes of a child”

Christine and the Queens has shared a new track called “Eyes of a child.” The song was written for the Amazon Prime original TV series HANNA. Dizzy – “Roman candles”

Oshawa’s Dizzy have shared a video for their new single “Roman candles.” “‘Roman Candles’ is about how insecure I feel being someone who’s pursued music as a job,” vocalist Katie Munshaw explains. “I’ve often felt jealous of friends who’ve taken more traditional paths in life. Some have gone to university and have 9-to-5 jobs already and have to buy funny things like lawnmowers and cutlery. I know that sounds silly, but I have a real fear I’ll never own a home or be able to support a family because of the decision I’ve made, so of course that’s scary.”

The Zolas – “Come Back To Life”

The Zolas are continuing with their “Summer of Z Days” today by sharing a video for their new single, “Come Back To Life.” The collection is made up of a series of apocalyptic songs that The Zolas will be sharing each month this summer, including previously released single “Energy Czar.”

U.S. Girls – “Overtime (Alex Frankel Remix)”

Holy Ghost!’s Alex Frankel has shared a remix of U.S. Girls’ “Overtime.” Frankel’s remix of the Heavy Light track was made by working with the original live-recorded tracks of the song. The dance remix is definitely a song of the summer, with a catchy, driven beat and Meg Remy’s silky vocal lines taking the lead.
