New music Fridays have been exceptionally fruitful this season, and today was no different! With tons of great music coming out this week, putting together our weekly roundup of the Best New Indie tracks wasn’t all that difficult.

Wolf Parade – “Valley Boy”
Wolf Parade have announced their first full length album in seven years, Cry Cry Cry coming October 6th. They shared the first taste of what’s to come this week with “Valley Boy.”
Grizzly Bear – “Neighbors”
The fourth track from Grizzly Bear’s much-anticipated album Painted Ruins dropped Friday. The seminal indie folk group’s new album drops August 18th.
The Weather Station – “Thirty”
Toronto’s The Weather Station are gearing up to release a self-titled album on October 6, sharing album’s lead single, entitled “Thirty” this week.
Chad Vangaalen – “Pine and Clover”
Chad Vangaalen shared a music video for his new track “Pine and Clover,” this week, coming from his upcoming album Light Formation. The video, which was produced out of a combination of claymation, cell animation, and paperless 2D animation, is about a shapeshifter that cannot retain memories.
The War on Drugs – “Strangest Thing”
Following “Thinking of a Place” and “Holding On,” Philadelphia-based The War on Drugs band shared “Strangest Thing” this week. This one is another slow jam, good for reflecting on past flames while riding a train through the countryside.
Belle Game – “Spirit”
Vancouver’s Belle Game has released their first single off of their upcoming album Fear/Nothing, which is set to release on September 8. The single is called “Spirit,” and the music video explores the life of a woman in India who works as a Well of Death stunt driver.
Barr Brothers – “You Would Have to Lose Your Mind”
Montreal’s Barr Brothers have announced a new album called Queens of the Breakers is coming, out October 13th. To celebrate their announcement, they shared a first sample, “You Would Have to Lose Your Mind” on Friday.
Everything Everything – “A Fever Dream”
Following “Can’t Do”, Everything Everything have announced the title of their forthcoming album, A Fever Dream. This week they shared the title track from the upcoming album and it’s a doozy.
