Dan Mangan – “Fool For Waiting”
Two-time Juno Award-winning singer-songwriter Dan Mangan unveiled a new single, “Fool For Waiting,” this week. Mangan’s fifth studio album is in production and currently slated for a fall 2018 release.
K.Flay – “Run For Your Life”
“Blood In The Cut” singer K.Flay released her contribution to the upcoming Tomb Raider film, releasing “Run For Your Life” this week.
Brave Shores – “Cult Kids”
Toronto electronic duo marked their return this week with the release of “Cult Kids.” This is the first single from the band since their 2014 self-titled album
Beach House – “Lemon Glow”
As is their fashion, Beach House surprised fans this week with a new single “Lemon Glow.” The Baltimore-born band most recently released a B-Sides and Rarities album in 2017 following Thank Your Lucky Stars and Depression Cherry in 2016.
Sloan – “Spin Our Wheels”
Sloan are set to release their first new album in four years, Sloan 12, on April 6 via Murderecords/Universal Music Canada. The veteran Canadian rockers have unveiled another song, “Spin Our Wheels,” following “The Day Will Be Mine“.
Courtney Barnett – “Nameless, Faceless”
Following the release of her collaborative album with Kurt Vile, Lotta Sea Lice in October, Courtney Barnett announced her next album Tell Me How You Really Feel this week with the release of it’s first single “Nameless, Faceless.”
Ryan Adams – “Baby I Love You”
Ryan Adams’ 2017 record Prisoner was a breakup album, seemingly reflecting on his six-year marriage to Mandy Moore, which ended in 2015. On an more uplifting note, Adams has released a new love song on Valentine’s Day “Baby I Love You”.
The Voidz – “Pointlessness”
Julian Casablancas group The Voidz shared a third new single from their forthcoming sophomore album Virtue, a fun new track called “Pointlessness.”
Preoccupations – “Antidote”
Canadian band Preoccupations will be releasing their upcoming album New Material on March 23 after a long-awaited follow up to their 2016 record. The group shared a six minute single “Antidote” this week, listen above.
IsKwé – “The Unforgotten”
Irish and Cree/Dené artist IsKwé is sharing a brand new single today featuring Canadian throat singer Tanya Tagaq, called “The Unforgotten.”
