Bestival just announced via their Instagram that breakout artist BANKS will be performing at the inaugural Toronto festival this June.

For those who’ve been waiting for a marquee music festival to return to Toronto Islands, the wait is finally over as UK Fest Bestival has expanded to North America, coming to Hanlan’s Point Beach, Toronto Islands, on June 12-13. The lineup is a very solid mix of pop, indie, hip-hop, and huge DJ acts. There is also a Costume Party & Parade planned for the Saturday and something called “The Day of the Dead Cocktail Bus”. We approve.
