Bill Cosby Found Guilty on All Three Counts in Sexual Assault Retrial

Comedian faces up to 30 years in prison

Comedian and actor Bill Cosby has been found guilty on three charges of aggravated indecent assault for drugging and assaulting Andrea Constand in 2004. The 80-year-old faces up to 10 years in prison on each count.

The verdict came after the jury deliberated for 14 hours. Cosby’s initial trial ended with a hung jury in June of 2017.

Cosby reportedly lashed out at prosecutors following the verdict.

Cosby gave Constand, then a Temple University employee, three pills at his Philadelphia-area home in 2004. He then sexually violated her while she was immobilized. Dozens of other women had come forward with similar stories of being drugged and molested by Cosby over the years. Constand’s case is the only one that resulted in a trial.
