Billie Eilish defends her friendship with Drake

Eilish says that there are 'more important things for people to worry about'

Grammy-award winning singer Billie Eilish has defended her controversial friendship with Drake.

The young singer sparked concern last year after she revealed that the 33-year-old rapper had been sending her texts. Now, in a new interview with US Vogue, Eilish says that the internet is a “mess right now,” and that there are “more important things for people to worry about,” claiming that Drake was just revealing that he was a fan of her music.

“A grown man can’t be a fan of an artist? There are so many people that the internet should be more worried about,” Eilish says. “Like you’re really going to say that Drake is creepy because he’s a fan of mine, and then you’re going to go vote for Trump? What the fuck is that shit?”
