Billie Eilish in early talks to executive produce forthcoming Peggy Lee biopic ‘Fever’

Michelle Williams is set to star in the film

Billie Eilish is reportedly in early talks to executive produce a forthcoming Peggy Lee biopic, Fever, according to Billboard.

The forthcoming flick will be helmed by Carol director Todd Haynes, with Michelle Williams playing the lead role of Lee. Now, it has been revealed that Eilish may executive produce the movie alongside her mother Maggie Baird and Darkroom founder and CEO Justin Lubliner. Lubliner is currently working as an executive producer on the forthcoming Eilish documentary, The World’s A Little Blurry.

Eilish has been connected to Lee in the past, taking part in an online panel last year, which celebrated the life and career of the late Lee in celebration of the 100-year anniversary of her birth.

Although she has directed and produced several of her own music videos, if Eilish does work on Fever, it would be the first time she executive produced on a major film.

Peggy Lee passed away at age 81 in 2002, and she was the first female artist to be nominated for Record of the Year in 1959 at the first-ever Grammys ceremony.
