The Dirty Nil’s Ross Miller slipped and broke a part of his hand, which made the band postpone two of their shows, so Billy Talent’s Jonathan Gallant will be joining the band on their upcoming European tour to help them out.
Unfortunately, Miller won’t be able to perform throughout the entirety of the tour, but “Ross is temporarily being promoted to hype man extraordinaire so these will be really special and unique Nil shows,” the band wrote in a statement on Facebook. Gallant swiftly took to Twitter to announce that he’d be filling in Miller’s shoes, stating that he’s “got some work to do.”

So we’ve got some bad news and then some amazing news. The other night, Ross accidentally slipped and…
This is what it’s all about! Friends helping friends. Ross unfortunately can’t play on the @thedirtynil tour so our very own Jonny G is heading out on the road with them for a few weeks! Go say hi! ?? https://t.co/BzTHCZB2t7
