We all thought that Warped Tour was dead and gone, but sometimes things magically come back to life!
Back in December, the founder of the festival said that Warped Tour was coming back for 3 events in 2019 for their 25th anniversary. Details were just released today, so we finally have some line-ups and venues!
The first event is going to be held in Cleveland on June 8th. This is for the opening of the “Forever Warped: 25 Years of the Warped Tour” exhibit at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Museum, which will feature performances by a number of artists, such as We the Kings, Simple Plan, and Emory!
The second event is going to be a 2-day festival in Atlantic City on June 29th – 30th. This is going to be in original Warped Tour fashion with artists coming together to rock all day long in the sun. All staged on a beach for a summer dream, there will be a killer line-up of bands that will rock you to your bones, including Good Charlotte, Blink-182 and The Offspring.
For the final event, they’re having another 2-day festival but this time it’s at Mountain View in California. This festival is on July 20th – 21st, and it has an equally crazy good line-up, complete with Sum 41, All-American Rejects and Bad Religion. For these anniversary shows, they are bringing it back to the roots of where Warped Tour started, with the pop punk, rock and emo music we love.
Going from east coast to west coast, they are giving people a chance to come together one last time on this 25 year journey. You can get tickets now and make your way down to the USA this summer to experience it all before it’s gone for good!
