Blink-182’s Travis Barker Sues Bus Company and Medical Centre

Medical issues forced Blink-182 to cancel recent tour dates.

Travis Barker of Blink-182 is reportedly suing over injuries he sustained when a bus collided with his SUV in July. The incident forced the band to cancel their recent tour dates, so Barker is suing both the bus driver and the bus company.

Barker also claims that he got a staph infection because employees at a medical centre in Santa Monica used a dirty needle while treating him.

Earlier this month, the band released that they had to cancel their tour due to the drummer’s injuries in a statement posted to Twitter:

Barker, who has been experiencing blood clots in both arms, thought he would be okay to play come the fall, but after a recent check up his doctors decided not to clear him. The tour was centered around Riot Fest in Chicago, which the band was scheduled to headline.

Allegedly, the injuries have been life-changing for Barker, and a lawsuit has become necessary. Barker never specifies the amount he’s asking for in damages, but has been forced to turn down several offers.
