After plotting two live shows this year, Bombay Bicycle Club have not only announced that they’re making a comeback in 2019, but they’re also recording their first new album in five years.
Back in January, the beloved indie band revealed that they were thinking about making some new material in a statement. “The joy we were getting out of playing the old songs seemed to naturally lead us onto working on new material, so we’re becoming immersed in that as we speak,” the band explained in unison. “Hopefully it won’t be too long before we have something new for you guys to hear.”
Now, another band called Dolly And The Dinosaur have tweeted out that Bombay Bicycle Club are in the process of recording their new album in the same North London Studio. “5 weeks since we did our ep and Bombay Bicycle Club are now recording their new album in the same room,” Dolly And The Dinosaur tweeted.

Hopefully that means that they’ll be playing some new tunes during their headlining sets at Wilderness Festival in August or their American show at Brooklyn Steel in October.
