Bon Iver’s sophomore album Bon Iver, Bon Iver turned 10 earlier this year. Today, the band announced that they’d be celebrating with a 10th anniversary edition of the album.
The anniversary reissue will not only include a new embossed version of the cover art, but it will also have an essay from Phoebe Bridgers.
In addition to the original record, it will feature a recording of their live session at AIR Studios. In those sessions, frontman Justin Vernon and Sean Carey perform as a duo. These renditions are stripped back to just a grand piano and vocals. Today, they previewed those releases with “Babys (AIR Studios – 4AD / Jagjaguwar Session).”

The reissue is out on January 14th, 2022, and you can pre-order it here.
In addition to the reissue, the band will celebrate by playing their first shows since early 2020. On October 22nd and 23rd, they’ll recreate the album’s original touring production at the YouTube Theater in Inglewood, California.
“After nearly two years without live music from the band, the anniversary shows will memorialize Bon Iver’s joyful return to touring,” according to a press release. “As is the band’s hallmark, their live performances will offer audiences a quiet reflection on the past while revisiting the seminal Bon Iver, Bon Iver a decade later; moments for sincere gratitude for and celebration of community and togetherness; and an opportunity for the healing to begin as they work towards a brighter future.”
You can purchase tickets for the shows this Friday, August 20th at 1:00 p.m. EST here.
