Bon Iver to donate portion of annual publishing royalties to campaign supporting gender equity

They were inspired by Wilco frontman Jeff Tweedy

Bon Iver have announced that they’re going to donate five per cent of their annual publishing royalties to their campaign that works toward ending gender inequality, domestic violence, and sexual abuse, 2 A Billion.

Bon Iver had been inspired by Jeff Tweedy, who is donating five per cent of his “‘writer’s share’ revenue” to Black Lives Matter organizations, particularly the movement for Black Lives and Black Women’s Blueprint.
