Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon and The National’s Aaron Dessner bring PEOPLE festival to New York, announce lineup

The festival will take place on May 3 and 4

For the last couple of years, Justin Vernon and Aaron Dessner have thrown a collaborative music event in Berlin called PEOPLE, and today they’ve revealed that they’re bringing the improvisational festival to Brooklyn, New York.

The event, which is set to take place at Pioneer Works on May 3rd and 4th, will feature new material from outstanding artists like Sinkane, Anais Mitchell, Boys Noize, and, of course, Vernon and Dessner themselves. Additionally, the full group of artists will present projects such as Big Red Machine, Bonny Light Horseman, and This Is The Kit.
