Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon To Start His Own Music Festival

Justin Vernon gets approved permit for new festival

Justin Vernon has been toying with the idea of starting his own music festival for the last little while, and it looks like it’s really going to happen.

Recent reports a confirm that permits are approved for the Eaux Claires Music and Arts Festival, a fresh outdoor festival that will take place in Vernon’s hometown of Eau Claire, Wisconsin. The event will happen on July 17th and 18th at Foster Farm, and it will happen in conjunction with Crashline Productions, the people behind Boston Calling. The permit allows 25,000 attendees each day, with on site camping, and three stages.

Justin Vernon will hand pick the lineup himself but we will have to wait and see who will be on the bill.
