Phoebe Bridgers, Julien Baker, and Lucy Dacus have played their first show together as boygenius in three years.
At the San Francisco charity event Bread & Roses on November 19th, the trio performed for the first time since 2018. Located at the Saint Joseph’s Art Society, all of the proceeds went toward the Bay Area nonprofit.
Bread & Roses “produce[s] free, live music and entertainment for Bay Area children, teens, adults, and elders who don’t have the ability to easily experience the uplifting power of the arts in any other way.” During the set, the trio performed 12 tracks. Some of those were individual solo tunes and the others were from their self-titled boygenius EP.
