In 1997, Brandy starred as the titular role in a musical adaptation of Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella.
The film, which co-starred Whitney Houston as the Fairy Godmother, has been unavailable to stream for years, but now it will finally debut on Disney+ on February 12th.
In an interview with The View, Brandy revealed to host Whoopi Goldberg, who also appeared in the famous flick, that the movie was finally getting a streaming release.
“I’m so excited that Cinderella has a home now at Disney+,” Brandy said in the interview, “and we can celebrate and share and inspire a whole new generation to see this wonderful piece.”
