Bruce Springsteen will make his Broadway debut this fall with his solo show Springsteen on Broadway.
He is set to take the stage at the Walter Kerr Theatre in New York City, a relatively small venue for the Rock legend. Springsteen describes the intimate nature of the performance, “My show is just me, the guitar, the piano and the words and music.” In addition to the music he will read excerpts from his memoir, Born to Run.
“Some of the show is spoken, some of it is sung. It loosely follows the arc of my life and my work. All of it together is in pursuit of my constant goal to provide an entertaining evening and to communicate something of value.” The 8-week run will begin on Tuesday, October 3.
