Falling behind Switzerland and Japan for best country in the world

It’s a good day to be Canadian, eh?

Canada has just been ranked the third-best country in the world by the US News & World Report, Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and Y&R’s BAV Consulting. Clocking in at number three out of 80 countries, Canada is only behind Switzerland and Japan.
 


Additionally, the True North Strong And Free has been able to hold its place as the number one country in the world for Quality of Life for the fourth year in a row. In order to rank all 80 countries, they measured based on “75 different metrics,” including a good job market, affordability, economic stability, family friendliness, and more.
