This morning’s downpour resulted in wildly flooded roads in Toronto’s west end, and since 10:00 a.m., parts of Kipling Avenue and Rexdale Boulevard have been closed.
Environment Canada even issued a special weather warning this morning, where they projected a whopping 20 to 30 millimetres of rain and thunderstorms. As a result, several vehicles on the road got stuck underwater. Even subways on TTC Line 2 travelling eastbound were forced to bypass Jane Station due to flooding.
