Chicago rapper cites "personal reasons" for cancelling final three dates

It’s been an eventful couple of days for Chance the Rapper. The 23-year-old artist dropped a cover of Drake’s “Feel No Ways” on BBC Radio 1Xtra’s Live Lounge and extended some words of support for Kanye West, before ultimately pulling the plug on the remaining European dates on his own tour.

Concert promoter MCD confirmed the news via Facebook, citing “personal reasons” for the Chicago rapper cancelling the final three European dates on his Magnificent Coloring World Tour.

“I want to extend a very special prayer to my big brother, Kanye West,” Chance the Rapper said during his Live Lounge appearance. West, of course, cancelled 21 dates on his tour earlier this week and was hospitalized for “temporary psychosis” following a rash of on-stage rants and erratic behaviour.

“I know there’s a lot of weird folks out there but you already know that I’m a hundred grand. I want to just extend this prayer and this love from all the way in Britain. We might come home early to see this man,” Chance added.
