Charli XCX took to The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon last night (October 6th), where she performed her recent single “Good Ones.”
The campy performance opens with Charli XCX crawling out from her own grave. Throughout the clip, the hyperpop star dances along to “Good Ones” from a foggy graveyard. Decked out in a leather bikini, Charli delivers a theatrical, over-the-top performance that the dance-worthy anthem deserves.
In an interview with Evening Standard, Charli says that she embraced her inner “ultra pop star” on “Good Ones.” You can really see this in her Fallon performance, as she leans into her pop stardom to the extreme. Throughout the clip, Charli XCX almost satirizes her own stardom, becoming a caricature of a pop singer.

Back in August, Charli announced her new podcast, Best Song Ever. On Best Song Ever, she chats with a whole slew of guests about music that they connect with. It was produced by Max O’Brien and Amy Lee for Novel Productions.
On the podcast, the how i’m feeling now artist chats with some close friends and collaborators like Caroline Polachek, Christine and the Queens, Bowen Yang, Ziwe, Beabadoobee, Mark Ronson, Addison Rae, Tove Lo, Benny Drama, and Barbie Ferreira.
Earlier this year, Charli XCX collaborated with The 1975 and No Rome on “Spinning.” The song was produced by No Rome alongside The 1975’s Matty Healy and George Daniel. It sees Charli XCX taking the lead on vocals with harmonies from Healy and a verse from No Rome. Ultimately, it’s a dance-worthy, club-ready anthem.
