Charli XCX teams up with Tiësto on new single ‘Hot in It’

Charli XCX has linked up with Tiësto for a new single, “Hot in It.”

The track marks the fourth single from Tiësto’s forthcoming album. “Hot in It” is a club-ready summer anthem. Charli’s gritty, processed vocals take the lead atop a catchy electronic beat.

“I knew from the second I heard Charli’s cut on the song that it was going to be a smash, and it’s been amazing to see how everyone has been reacting to the message of the song,” Tiësto explains of the track. “The heat on this one is incredible, so excited it’s finally out in the world!”

“I’m very excited to get hot in it this summer,” Charli XCX adds.

This new tune serves as Charli XCX’s latest collaboration with the Dutch producer, following his remix of Charli’s “Break the Rules” and “I Love It,” Charli’s joint hit with Icona Pop.

Tiësto’s forthcoming album serves as the follow-up to 2020’s The London Sessions. It’s set to feature previously released singles “The Business,” “Don’t Be Shy,” and “The Motto.”

Back in March, Charli XCX shared a deluxe edition of her recent album, CRASH. CRASH (Deluxe) features four new bonus tracks. In addition to CRASH favourites like “Good Ones” and “New Shapes,” the deluxe edition features “Selfish Girl,” “I Don’t Give a Fuck,” “Sorry If I Hurt You,” and “How Can I Not Know What I Need Right Now.” Big names like The 1975’s George Daniel, Lotus IV, Deaton Chris Anthony, and A.G. Cook handled the production of the new tunes.
