Charlotte Day Wilson, Lido Pimienta, the Dirty Nil, more to play Hamilton’s Supercrawl

Hamilton music and arts festival Supercrawl has announced a pretty stacked lineup for its 2022 edition, which takes place from September 9th to 11th.

The free event is set to feature headlining sets from big-name acts like Charlotte Day Wilson, Lido Pimienta, The Dirty Nil, Sarah Harmer, Tim Baker, and Hamilton All-Stars. It’s a huge lineup, with more than 40 musical acts.

Festivalgoers can look forward to some pretty amazing sets from acts like Ellevator, Loony, Loviet, Eamon McGrath, OMBIIGIZI, Pleasure Craft, Tallies, JJ Wilde, Tynomi Banks, Breeze, and many more. Supercrawl is also set to feature an interactive residency from art rockers Squonk.

“We’re thrilled and energized to be returning to James North,” director Tim Potocic explains. “Supercrawl’s core commitment is to artists and makers, and we’ve always been strongly anchored in Hamilton’s downtown, so this is definitely a milestone moment. The arts sustained a lot of people through a challenging couple of years, and that connection was a lifeline for many of us, so it’s amazing to be able to celebrate artists again in this way — and to do so together, in person. We can’t wait to see you all again this September.”

Supercrawl will also feature visual art and performances from Asli Alin, All Our Relations Collective, Mary Anne Barkhouse, Kiera Boult, Dawn Hackett Burns, Joseph Farrugia, Melissa General, Skawennati, and Brandon Vickerd.
