Production on the forthcoming Queen/Freddie Mercury biopic Bohemian Rhapsody has been shrouded in uncertainty, but one thing that appears certain is Rami Malek’s ability to embody the late frontman.
Footage of the film debuted at CinemaCon this week, reportedly wowing the audience. 20th Century Fox shared a pair of images featuring Malek as Mercury on Thursday. Check them out below.
The film was set to star Sacha Baron Cohen before the actor severed ties with the production in 2011. Director Bryan Singer was fired from the film last year amid reports he had failed to show up on set numerous times. Singer was replaced by Dexter Fletcher.
Bohemian Rhapsody hits theatres on November 2.
