Childish Gambino Announces North American Tour

Rae Sremmurd is set to be the opening act

Donald Glover has had nothing less than a jam-packed schedule. Whether it’s on set filming for the Star Wars spin-off, voice acting for the live action remake of The Lion King, or working on the second season of his highly acclaimed series Atlanta – the man seems to be going non-stop.

His busy life doesn’t seem to end here. This morning he took to Facebook to surprise fans with news that Childish Gambino will be touring 13 different arenas in the whole month of September. This will be the singer’s first tour to back up his 2016 album Awaken, My Love!

In another post, he identified that the opening act for all tour dates would Rae Sremmurd. Although there was a mysteriously empty caption alongside the picture, we can pretty much put two and two together.

This announcement comes just a couple months after the singer signed a new deal with RCA records for his third and, apparently, final album.

Pre-sale tickets are available this Tuesday (March 6) and general tickets going on sale Friday (March 9) via Ticketmaster.
