CHVRCHES bring out The Cure’s Robert Smith for four songs at Brixton Academy show

CHVRCHES performed at London’s Brixton Academy last night (March 16th), where they brought out The Cure’s Robert Smith for four songs.

Smith recently collaborated with the Scottish trio on “How Not To Drown.” At Brixton Academy, Smith and CHVRCHES played that song alongside The Cure’s “Just Like Heaven” and CHVRCHES’ “The Mother We Share” and “Clearest Blue.”

Before this set, two weeks ago, CHVRCHES and Smith performed at the same venue at BandLab NME 2022. It had marked the first time the artists had performed together in person, as they collaborated on “How Not To Drown” virtually.

Check out fan-shot footage of CHVRCHES and Smith’s collaborations at Brixton Academy below.
