Chvrches Perform “Death Stranding” on Late Late Show with James Corden

From the soundtrack for new video game Death Stranding

Chvrches awed the crowd at the Late Late Show with James Corden when they performed their powerful new song “Death Stranding” from the soundtrack for new video game Death Stranding, released Nov 8.

Lead-singer Lauren Mayberry’s vocals soared over glistening synths and a driving drum-track, imploring “what will become of us all at the end of it all?” The chorus responds with an affirmed resilience that “you can take my heart/Hold it together as we fall apart” in the face of the bleak, post-apocalyptic future envisioned in the game.

The soundtrack also includes seven previously unreleased songs from artists Major Lazer & Khalid, The Neighbourhood and Bring Me the Horizona, and the video game Death Stranding features Norman Reedus, Mads Mikkelsen, Léa Seydoux and Lindsay Wagner.
