Coachella’s April dates have been cancelled, making it the third time that the festival has been cancelled due to COVID-19.
The desert festival was initially rescheduled for fall of 2020 due to the pandemic, before being cancelled altogether. This year, Coachella was set to take place from April 9th to 11th and 16th to 18th, but now those dates have been cancelled as well.
California public health officer Dr. Cameron Kaiser made the decision, announcing the news over Twitter this weekend.
