While festivals like Governors Ball and Life is Beautiful have begun to plot their return for late summer and fall of 2021, but it looks like Coachella is being pushed back for another year.

According to Variety, two industry sources have said that the festival will not be returning in 2021, and will finally make their return in 2022. “There’s a big difference between having two weekends of Coachella in California and throwing a country festival in Florida,” one of the sources explain.
Promoter Goldenvoice and its parent company AEG have yet to respond to Variety‘s request for comment.
Coachella’s 2020 edition was pushed back multiple times before being cancelled in June. Then, Riverside County, California announced that the April 2021 festival would be cancelled in January, but Coachella has yet to issue a statement about that as well.
