Coldplay are rumoured to drop some new tunes later today, but this time under a new band name: Los Unidades.
Coldplay’s record label, Parlophone, tweeted about a new artist signing with a blurred shadowy photo of four people that fans believe look eerily similar to Coldplay. The four piece band even liked the label’s tweet, forcing fans to wonder even more about the identity of the mysterious Los Unidades.

A Coldplay fan account called @ColdplayXtra also investigated the announcement even further, discovering a legal trademark agreement that appears to list the owners of Los Unidades as Chris Martin, Jon Buckland, Guy Berryman, and Will Champion.
According to a legal trademark agreement the founding members of #LosUnidades are:
– Chris Martin
– Jon Buckland
– Guy Berryman
– Will Champion

Last, but not least, the bottom of the poster reads “Y02LPAC91ODL,” which is an anagram of “COLDPLAY2018,” and the Los Unidades social media accounts are all registered.
Another announcement about Los Unidades is expected at 5:00 p.m. today.
