Although Coldplay just released their new album this past May, they’re already working on their seventh, and apparently final, record. The band sat down with Zane Lowe on BBC Radio 1 to talk A Head Full Of Dreams.
“It’s our seventh thing and the way we look at it is like the last Harry Potter book or something like that. Not to say that there might not be another thing one day, but this is the completion of something and it was great to go from Ghost Stories right back in the studio. Now we’re making a thing that sounds different and it’s a very fun time to be in our band.”
Chris Martin says he has to think of it as the final thing the band will be putting out, otherwise they won’t put their all into it.
Martin says the band will go on tour after A Head Full Of Dreams is completed. What do you think? Should A Head Full Of Dreams be Coldplay’s last release or have they got more in the tank?
