ViacomCBS television channel the Paramount Network pulled episodes of the long-running real-life police show Cops from its schedule following the death of George Floyd at the hands of Minneapolis last month. Now, the network has formally cancelled the show after a six-year run, and a previous 25-season run on FOX, Deadline reports.
“Cops is not on the Paramount Network and we don’t have any current or future plans for it to return,” a Paramount Network spokesperson said in a statement to Deadline.
