Creemore To Open Brewpub Downtown Toronto

Ahhhh. There’s nothing like a fresh beer, straight from brewing to the bottle. I’m already salivating from the very thought of it. Well the good people at Molson-owned Creemore Springs are opening up Batch, a gastrobrewery on 75 Victoria St, (previous home to the Beer Academy, and Duggan’s and Denison’s breweries).

Brewmaster Andrew Bartle, (previously at Collingwood’s Northwinds Brewhouse) will be making small-batch beer on site. What’s on the menu? So far, a pale ale, a cream ale, a witbier, a porter, and an IPA as well as a plethora of seasonal offerings and a few guest taps.

Chef Ben Heaton (The Grove, Citta) designed the menu of comfort-food classics, including a lamb burger, pulled brisket flatbread, house-made German bratwurst, and a daily selection of pies (of the dessert variety). The new place will also have a retail shop selling swag, Creemore Springs brews, and Batch beer to-go.

The spot on 75 Victoria St. will be officially opening March 7th.
