Photos have just surfaced that show Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl on set filming a movie about his life. In fact, it appears that Grohl returned to his high school, AHS, for a couple of scenes.
Went outside to investigate a film crew on campus only to discover that it was Dave Grohl from @foofighters who went to AHS and whose mother was an English teacher at AHS. What a treat! Go Atoms!! pic.twitter.com/bPq5WQcFeF

Grohl was spotted by several fans shooting the new flick in Los Angeles, and his mother, Virginia Hanlon Grohl, confirmed that it would be covering “his career – from Scream to Nirvana to Foo Fighters,” according to NME. Not many details have been confirmed about the upcoming film, but Virginia hinted that it may very well revolve around his siblings and how they shaped his musical taste.
“[Dave’s older sister, Lisa] was the one that introduced him to her musical tastes [punk rock] when she was a teenager and I was worried that she would feel left out,” Virginia told The Sydney Morning Herald. “So I think it can be hard for siblings, but from my experience, most of the families [of rock stars] are strong families.”
