From Cradle to Stage: Stories From the Mothers Who Rocked and Raised Rock Stars, is a novel penned by the Foo Fighters front man’s mother, Virginia Hanlon Grohl, and even features a foreword by Dave, himself.
The mother of the former Nirvana drummer interviewed the mothers of other famous musicians, including Verna Griffin (Dr. Dre), Janis Winehouse (Amy Winehouse), Donna Haim (the Haim sisters), Marianne Stipe (R.E.M.’s Michael Stipe), Hester Diamond (Beastie Boys’ Mike D), and Patsy Noah (Adam Levine).
The book will also include “exclusive” photos of the Grohl family.
