Lady Gaga gave a high-energy tribute performance in honour of David Bowie at the Grammy Awards last night (Feb. 15). Gaga was decked out in Bowie-reminiscent attire and sang a medley of 10 Bowie songs including, “Space Oddity,” “Changes,” “Ziggy Stardust,” “Suffragette City” and “Under Pressure.”
Gaga’s performance received mixed reactions from Bowie fans, but Bowie’s very own son, Duncan Jones, seemed to be disappointed. Last night, Jones took to Twitter with a very cryptic message.
"overexcited or irrational, typically as a result of infatuation or excessive enthusiasm; mentally confused." Damn it! What IS that word!?
— Duncan Jones (@ManMadeMoon) February 16, 2016
The message called for his followers to match the definition with the word. The answer? “Gaga“.
Needless to say, the definition he posted is not extremely complimentary to Gaga or her performance. Calling her performance “irrational” or “mentally confused” doesn’t exactly sound like praise.
