Dawn to Dawn have shared their new single, “Stereo,” alongside the announcement of their forthcoming album, Postcards From The Sun To The Moon, out October 6th via SSURROUNDSS.
“Stereo” is a pulsing summer anthem, with gritty percussion, dreamy synths, and silky vocal lines. The accompanying video follows Dawn to Dawn through the city streets and into an arcade on what seems to be a hot and rainy night.
“This song captures the sound of summer: sweltering nights, afterparties and playful romance,” Dawn to Dawn explain. “It was written deep in the 2020 winter lockdown, as we imagined the parties of summer’s past. A breaky, forward moving 909 beat carries airy synths that glide beneath Tess’ airy vocals. Weightless and captivating, ‘Stereo’ is an anthem for years to come.”

Made up of Tess Roby, Adam Ohr, and Patrick Lee, Dawn to Dawn are gearing up to release 9 all-enveloping tunes on Postcards From The Sun TO THe Moon.
“Roby would write the lyrics off-the-cuff in the room during their jam sessions, then Ohr and Lee would take these versions and edit them, experimenting with processing, before bringing them back to listen all together and distill the tracks into their final forms,” a press release explains. “Mixed by fellow Montreal musicians Patrick Holland and Pierre Guerineau, and featuring impressionistic artwork by Hugo Bernier, this album is meant to be enjoyed with or without a fixed destination in mind.”
