Death Cab For Cutie Releases Album Details

The band goes from four members to three, but that doesn't stop them from making new music.

Death Cab for Cutie announced the release date, album art and track list for their upcoming album, Kintsugi. Set for release on March 31st, the upcoming album is the final Death Cab album recorded with founding member Chris Walla.

“Kintsugi” is, according to bassist Nick Harmer:

A Japanese style of art where they take fractured, broken ceramics and put them back together with very obvious, real gold. It’s making the repair of an object a visual part of its history. That resonated with us as a philosophy, and it connected to a lot of what we were going through, both professionally and personally.
